For a year while we were planning the F'n wedding all I hear from my wife and all of our family members was, "oh you will get all your money back from the wedding in gifts and gift cards". Well everybody, I can tell you right now that is total Bullsh!t. I told my wife after the wedding if she ever tells me how much this wedding costed us, I will kill people! Because I know full well that it was waaaaaay over 1500 dollars and some picture frames. We didn't even get a crock pot or a microwave. We had nothing when we moved into the house!
you married into the wrong family. more on this subject later

like the story about the guy getting married asking his dad for advice. his dad says "on my honeymoon night with your mom, I handed her my pants and told her to put them on. she did and said that she couldnt fit into them. I said you remember that I wear the pants in the family, and every thing has been peachy since."
so the guy keeps this in mind and on his wedding night, tells his wife to put on his pants and when they dont fit, tells her the same thing. she smiles and hands him her panties and says "put these on honey" he looks at her and says "I cant get into these"

she replies "And you wont ever get into them again if you keep up that smartass attitude!"

And not even a very powerful one. But I swapped in a high lift cam to make lots of compression and revved the p*** out of it. Thats how I made power - and a good bit of it too. I could give stock LT1s a really good race, which was amazing considering that it had 145 HP stock. It handled like it was on rails (the IROCs were all like that though).

since when did a cam swap change the cr?

if you have quoted someone previously in the thread, then come back and go to quote/post again in the advanced screen, it "remembers" that you had previously quoted other posts recently in that thread. also if you are viewing multiple threads at once and are jumping back and forth when replying, it will recognize that you have quoted from another thread when posting in a different one.

Hmmm, maybe because you have quit smoking. Just a hunch. Hope fully you start feeling better soon, as well. I know you don't feel sick now, but you will understand someday.

Morning all.

Wings win, Tigers win. Going to see Terminator with some friends and I'm still driving a Camaro. All is good.

I just did a Pod Cast interview on the "other website" so you guys can check that out tomorrow. Let me know if I sounded like a complete idiot or just a moron.

Spike, of course that would be when the new cam actually allows the valves to close all the way. Cuz you know as mechanical things wear out, they actually get bigger. So the valves were probably held open causing a lower compression ratio. So the new cam now allows the valves to close completely.

Plus a new cam makes the valves happy, which makes them seat better. LOL

Morning Number 3. Terminator: Salvation was very good. there were some parts that just make you think.... ok... its a living/thinking computer out to destroy humanity..... but it didnt think of trying this?

Bale does a great job portraying Connor. the opening scene is wicked cool. And I love the HK's.

Man, I never put 2 and 2 together. I've always noticed you had the Corvette in the background.

That is very clever. I feel more dumb for not having picked that up.

CZ28? Sweet.

I'll download it tomorrow morning and listen to it at my final vision exam now that my vision insurance has gone the way of the G8.
