Chasing down some new business opportunities... but it's not in my wheel house so I struggled a bit with this one.

We are getting a little more agressive in chasing down new business. and taking some more chances with the defense budget drawing down...

So instead of going after the stuff we do well and have past performance on we are trying to spin our existing experience into other DOD areas.

Not as comfortable for me, as I typically write to my team's expertise...

This latest round of RFP's has been more like.... technical creative writing???

Yeah that would be a pain. We use a template for our proposals that include our commercial clarifications and then whatever our exclusions may be. I typically have to add certain clarifications and exclusions depending on what the RFP calls for but I never have to formulate something completely new. I dread the day if we ever decide to do any commercial construction because that's a different ball game and I'm sure many of our stipulations wouldn't hold true in that field.
