/sigh. The moderator was simply pointing out how the OP should be spending more time guarding his bridge than trying to draw traffic to his poor excuse for a car review.

Objective? Dude I would buy a Camaro with no engine over a Miata simply because of how it LOOKS in comparison to that 'lil thing. You can't put looks in a spec review or it becomes unobjective itself!

the car is beautiful, everything else is a bonus.

As such, Motor Trend came to many of the conclusions that I did. Including the Mazda Miata being rated a better sports car.

I'll be testing a Camaro SS soon, after having driven one briefly two weeks ago at the GM proving grounds. Don't worry, I won't mention headroom or trunk space ever again.

Cheers, M!

I was actually tempted to get a Miata in high school. That was back when it had the really narrow headlights. I liked it because it was distinctive and low. Once I found out I couldn't even fit my instrument in the trunk, I gave up on it.

My neighbor bought his daughter a Miata when she turned 16.

Said Miata now sits in their garage and is never driven.

Reason?

He bought a real sports car. Corvette C3.

Yes, instrument as in band. I played trombone for a few different groups. Still do when I get the chance. It's a good break from engineering.

A Miata is as much of a sports car as a Mustang is a muscle car (actually considerably less but I like the comparison).

No credibility can be given to an objective review that would compare a car (Miata) that is nothing more than recycled washing machines to a fire breathing 426hp iconic american muscle car.

Lets compare shall we:

Camaro=Muscle Car

Miata=Clown Car

Any Questions?

I'll never be able to look at a miata again without smiling! Loving my Camaro SS! Going on 6 weeks since I brought her home and I still get people that want to drool all over her!

Hold the press folks - I have figured out why this troll has made a comparison of the Camaro to the Miata.

The reason they are included in the same sentence is because of the fact that the Camaro eats Mustangs and sh*ts out Miatas - now we know why they are in the same review.

The guy should at least come back on here and try to defend his point of view.

Keyword being "try," because Camaro owns Miata no matter what.

Who actually purchases a car because of auto magazine writers impressions? I could care less about what most have to say about a car that I am interested in.

Just like movies. The best movies are the ones that the critics give bad reviews to.

Oh, and miatas are gay. Period. I don't care what anybody says. Ha!
