Hey Bo, what kind of gains can be expected from a set of ported LS3 heads. If you don't have any true numbers how about your thoughts. Just wondering if the benefits out weigh the cost. Thanks.

I don't have any true #s. By what I gather the usual gains are 25rwhp. On a boosted application should be a touch more.

I'm going to port these up for a Christmas present to myself so I'm busy till the end of the year. Holding off on taking in anymore work until I have what I have now ported up and shipped out and my heads and cam swap is done before new year.

Bo, what are your plans for your port job? What are your area's of focus? What valve seat angles are you planning on using?

I'm a simple man. I'm going to stay with the factory 3 angle and just freshen up. I concentrate on the exhaust side of these rectangle port heads especially in a power adder application.
