My Victory Red 2SS/RS was ordered 8/4/09. Build date is week 9/7/09. 1 Week to 10 days for delivery. I was told 6-8 weeks. Did you get on a list or was it actually ordered from the factory? 12 weeks sounds like a lon time.

I ordered mine on June 18th, the order was placed with GM that next week and I picked my car up on Friday, August 21st. So right at 8 weeks for me.

Most people on this forum have waited at least 12 weeks.

That sounds realistic actually. A lot of folks here are told 6-8 weeks and its usually taking a bit longer. Take a look at my dates...I don't think I'll be getting mine in October as planned. I'm thinking moreso November-December.

The number one question for your dealer is when will he have an ALLOCATION for your order ?. You may still be at "1100" now and could stay there for weeks if he can't place your order. Once G.M. accepts your order it goes to "2000" and moves along quickly. I went to 2000 on 7/17 and my car was built on 8/4 and delivered to the dealer on 8/17. I drove it home a couple days later.
Get a current WORKBENCH copy e-mailed to you from the dealer- That will show where your order is currently at.

People shouldn't count any time waited prior to march when they actually "STARTED" building the cars.

Personally, I ordered May 12th.. Still waiting. TPW was last week.

Was originally told 8 weeks.
Dealer had allocations available. Mine was next to be processed.

Everyones gonna have a diff story though. Varies based on what constraints or problems are going on. When you order, what your dealer has available or already ordered, what you order, dealer location, dealer allocation, size, etc.... all kinds of crap to factor in so it's hard to say really that " 6 or 8 or 12 or more weeks is "standard"....

Bottom line... It takes as long as it takes. Best have some patience if you want the car.

Mine was ordered Jan 30th. If you count from March when they started production my wait was 5 months....picked it up Aug 7th. I don't know all the codes and what not but mine was born on July 22nd I believe it was. My husband knows all that crap, I didn't know anything until Aug 7th when i picked her up!

Ordered May 26th and it came in August 20th...That included a 1 month wait to get an allocation...

So from start to finish once I got the allocation it was a little under 2 months...That's what you should plan for in theory assuming your dealer had an allocation or at least that's what you should plan on from the time you finally do get your allocation...Of course, if you still don't have an allocation there's no way of knowing.

Dealer told me he had no allocations for cars ordered only for cars that the dealer ordered for itself so just as long as its already for a customer there is no problem I have an order number but he said he will not have any info until atleast week seven.robuss

I too was told 6-8 weeks, I had a allocation for my car, my TPW was last Monday, Its still at 3400, so it should be built any day now. SO I will let ya know. Some have waited a LONG time, I will just be happy to get mine, I have actually waited 23 years between Camaros.

How long did it take to ship to you in MN, once it was built?

I placed my order on 5/15. Car was officially built 7/16. I was stuck in QC until it was released on 8/15 - it is now sitting at the GM plant in Wentzville MO - my dealer is about 40 minutes away. I still do not have not taken delivery of my Camaro. So figure what 14 weeks for me, if I receive her before this Friday.

My dealer had an allocation so I went from 1100 to 2000 in a day. From start to finish it took 8 weeks.
