JBA makes great products...I have sold hundreds of sets of there shortys for the 4th Gen, and I am confident that the 5th Gen will be just as high quality.

Same here! I'm not interested in voiding my engine warranty with LT and needing a tune to get around the CEL.

I'm really looking forward to dynos for the LTs!!!! I'd also like to know the pros/cons of the three finishes. Do the mid pipes include an x-pipe?

Oh, I want to hear the axleback on an A6 and the catback too (before I buy SLP LMII's).

Titanium/ceramic coating keeps underhood temps down.

CONS: a little more expensive.

The GM shorties will not void the warranty but any other manufacturer will. Neither will void the warranty of any other component on the car except possibly the stock exhaust system from the headers back.

Yah, I know installing the LT won't void the warranty. The problem is that it is very likely the engine will have catalytic conv fault codes. To get around this you will need a tune that is not approved by GM, and therefore voiding your warranty.
