CAmaro vs 2010 Mustang 427r

So I was surfing ebay and found a brand new 427r 2010 mustang for 39995 +ttl. That is around the sticker price for the new camaro I am ordering right after deer season. The 427r says (I believe) 435hp from the s/c 4.6. It also has some other neat things to make it look a bit different from a normal mustang. What's everybody think??????

I personally really like these, i just have always thought they should put a 6 speed in them instead of the 5 speed.

Ya i don't quite get the 5 speed. In 2010 you would think that 6 speed would be standard in a performance car.
It seems like a good price for one of these. I found another one with an automatic, it was 1k more.

Maybe I lean a little more towards the Chevy products - but it always seems that no matter if the Mustang has equal horsepower the Camaro always beats them out. Just like the 700hp Corvettes that are constantly beating the 1000hp Vipers and Supras.

Sorry but not true, equal HP the Mustang will beat the Camaro every time.

My friend has a 08 ROUSH 427R AUTO and bone stock runs 12.7's all day long.

with a more aggressive tune he should hit 12.2-12.3's

The roushes actually are very good performers. If I was getting a mustang. the roush 427r would be my choice.

I think its pretty darn cool that you can order a factory hotrod like a Roush motored Mustang. Wish GM would have partnered with a famous tuner/engine builder over the years with a window sticker to match. I think its a pretty good buy on that car.

I still prefer the Camaro, but congrats to Ford

Seems some people have a hard time looking at anything but horsepower numbers... they forget things like torque, weight, gearing, aerodynamics, etc...
