Chevrolet's website for "building your own" now has note number (4) removed from the rally stripe options. Note (4) specified the stripes as a dealer installed option. So is Chevrolet now installing them at the factory in Oshawa?

The hockey stick stripes still have note (4) applied to them leaving them as a dealer installed option.

I hope they are installing them at the factory, I'm still trying to get my dealer to fix my crooked stripes that he is claiming the pattern was wrong when he put them on.

The stripes will begin being installed by the factory with the orders starting this week, this is for the rally stripes.

Whomever does them at the factory does a jam up job, mine were perfect. I got CGM and they were installed at the factory. Look great.

That's great news! No offense to the dealers, but I'd rather have somebody who specializes in putting on the stripes do it rather than somebody who does 10 a year... Of course I always wanted the CGM stripes anyway, but who knows if they add a color option for the 2011 model year that will change my mind!

Guess I was lucky. I have black rallys and were the first ever that the dealer installed. I was sweating bullets on that one. Turns out the guy who did it really knew what he was doing and they came out perfect. Usually doesn't happen that way for me. Maybe that's why my left axle seal started leaking after 3 days. Karma. Luckily got that fixed right first try.

I imagine you get pretty good at it after four or five hundred of the things

I know that white and CGM are installed at factory..but black etc are dealer installed...
