ADM performance 417+ LSA blower= bad ass!

Well i brought my car to Andy at ADM performance with a couple issues to be revamped. First was the A6 trans that was slipping and not shifting correctly. Second was the failing lifter that same at time. So we accessed the situation and came up with a game plan. So this is what we did.....

First the engine was pulled and tore down. Brought it to the machine shop and had it bored honed, decked etc. Re installed the callies crank, rods and brand new JE pistons. Bore is now 4.075 with a 4.0 crank. So its a true 417.

Second on the list was the other engine parts. We chose to run the gm ls3 cnc ported heads. Installed BTR springs and retainers and a BTR stage 3 pd blower cam.

Third part to this is the trans. I already had this for the install prior than this taking place. Its a RPM built zl1 tr6060 with upgraded internals and shafts. We then mated that to the centerforce dyad clutch.

Fourth thing was the rear diff assmembly. I had bought a zl1 3.73 diff for this occasion already. With axles etc. I also had the adm upper carbon composite control arm mounts and billet subframe bushings. With this i had the 15 inch wheel/brake package for it also ready to be installed. I removed the pedders coil overs because of fitment with a couple things. Installed the gm 1le suspension instead for comfort.

Fifth was the wiring. We installed all new wiring harnesses under the hood and for the trans.

Andy did a great job on everything on this build. From attention to detail to making it the best it could be.

Choosing to go to the lsa blower is a no brainer to me. The maggie had its place but it was not what i wanted. I wanted factory fit and finish with gm engineered parts and reliability. And that what i got. So those looking at the lsa blower kit from adm have no worries. It is awesome!

From all of this work it drives perfect and rapes the asphalt. This is only set at just over 10 psi as of now. It has an 8.75 lower pulley and a 2.50 upper.

There is more in it. A lot more. So for now im going to get some miles on it and then take it back for a 9.55 lower pulley and some c16 and see if 800rwhp and 900rwtq is in it.

Dyno sheets and videos will be loaded below. Enjoy.

And to think that's the small lower pulley and on pump gas. Another 5-6 psi and c16 and about 10-12 degrees of timing more. Then the torque will be insane. As if its not already. Lol. Your next man!

Jess that might happen next year. Maybe a cage and turn up the wick and go for 200. Lol. Danny went 187 with the maggie and 700rwhp with the auto. If i could get 800rwhp and gobs of torque with a stick with optimal gearing if would be close. Sticks seem to mph 8-10 better in the mile.

So....what do you think the LSA blower gave you that the 2.3L (bigger) Maggie didn't? I understand you like the looks, but damn, that seems like a lot of money spent for a sideways move...at best.

Engine was already a 417 and i hated the multi belt slipping, idler pulley bearing eating jackshaft setup. I had all the best stuff and still had issues with the 14 rib rear drive. Broke belts had bearing failure etc. Got sick of removing the blower everytime to fix it. The best on race gas it did with the stick originally with a 10 percent overdriven balancer with a 2.8 upper and an overdriven rear lingenfelter 14 rib setup with 15.5 psi was 745rwhp and 748rwtq. Looks like my new setup is more efficient. Made 716rwhp and 740rwtq with only 10 psi ON "PUMP GAS". Still has a lot more in it with 5-6 psi more boost and race gas. So i don't think in the end its really at all a sideways move to me. More power and more efficient and lower iat's sounds like a win win. Plus no more jackshaft.

Makes all the sense in my book as well. These 1.9 blowers work very well

Glad you are happy, that sounds like a beast. I'd have to challenge you on your statement about comparing it to the Maggie however, not sure you can compare prior numbers considering all the engine work, right? Apples and oranges

Only thing changed was the gm ls3 heads compared to the lingenfelter cnc ported ls3 heads and the cam which was a gt9 from lingenfelter to the milder in my opinion btr stage 3 which is way lower in lift. Already had je pistons before we just went .005 bigger to clean up the bore. Throttle body was the good ported ls2 and now just the stock ls3. And the lsa blower swap. All the other engine parts were already on my car prior to rebuilding engine. Like i said it was already an adm/ lingenfelter 417 engine. Same similar parts just a better efficient matched combo. Hard to say it is like comparing apples to oranges. I can say it will pull a tree stump now. My old maggie combo with the auto and 11 psi boost made 612/580. And that was a bigger blower. All im saying is the gm lsa blower is very efficient and really has the potential to make awesome power at low cost investment for a blower.
