Not this year for me.... was able to autocross and drag race at the 2013 Sturgis Camaro Rally though and had a blast! All my focus had beeen on being able to attend after having back surgery in early April - the end result of all the sciatic leg pain I had at last Cfest when I was with you. Didn't think I could make 2 straight days of driving to Indiana at the time. Not through the woods yet, but doing much better!

Also did well at the car show.... managed to pull 1st place for my class 2nd year in a row. Plus our "Camaro Club of the Rockies" pulled in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in most of the judging classes.

Man I would love to be there! Doing the vacation thing with the family til the 5th it has been two years since we have hit the trail so I guess we are due.
Any news on the new C7 front? My order just got picked up by the factory so I should have the car in September or October.
I am also going to need to give you a call for parts on the Camaro I need to get it ready to hit the strip this fall.

What are you having done (besides the obvious) engine upgrades?

Reason I ask is that after the additional power comes, you will find issues with Rear end, suspension, shifter, axles etc that also need to be upgraded due to excess power and weak stock components. Not that they are bad, but with the extra power, the weakest link will fail. All of us have worked to eliminate "the weak link".

I had LPE upgrade the exhaust, shifter/axles while they did my package. Afterwards, it went for a complete suspension upgrade, followed by LPE driveshaft/rear diff/axle upgrade once their 9.5" rear was ready.

I still need to do an RPM trans upgrade but most of the others in here did that as well already.

Now besides waiting to get this new one built I have to wait for LPE to get theirs so they can get it figured out and get a plan of attack for the mods on this new one.

I am doing good. Family is healthy and enjoying the summer off (Wife is a schoolteacher so she is on her summer vaca with the 8 yr. old).

What color vette did you order? I love the look of them. I assume it is going straight to LPE..

No racing this year with the car. I was let go at work - spent 6 months finding a new job. I am working again, but without a car trailer - sold it to cover the house payments. Will buy another trailer in the springtime. Nice thing about the new place of employment - it is 8 miles from the house - no travel required. I am working at a small ISP configuring internet access for customers. Very enjoyable work.

Sorry to hear about the job loss, but it sounds like you are enjoying the new one. Keep your head down and work hard and smart things will always get better.
Laguna Blue, close to the same color as my '69 Camaro.
Graham is twiddling his thumbs waiting on a C7 to figure out. I guess this new engine and computer has everyone waiting for one to test and tune.

Really, Don't tell anyone, but we actually bought a 2014 truck, just happens to be the same DI engine architecture, tho 5.3 liter displacement and same E92 ECU. tuned it on day two of it being here. We have been developing parts for the engines, L83, L86 and LT1 for some time now. So Mike what do you want for performance, just let me know..
