Best part is you can track it easily pretty sure they use Fed-ex.

Kinda cool saying i had my LPE modded car delivered by Fed-ex.. don't ya think?

Is that who you used Speed? RS?
570, congrats on your arrival at LPE I'm sure you are relieved. Yes my car was shipped to Decatur via Fed Ex Custom Critical, Very large rig and nice. After they picked me up they picked up mws and one other Camaro from Louisiana, don't think he is a member here though. Let the transformation begin.

Windy, any news your way?

Yes, wait #1 done.. wait #2 to go.. as soon as yours and windy's are out of the way, mine should get started on, I think.

I just want one ride before winter - that'll make me happy.

I have been without a vette for a month now.. the Trailblazer SS is AWD.
I got nothing to burn rubber with... the wife won't let me beat her honda.

No news here. Motor is done, trans is done and en-route to Lingy, so is a boost gauge via Andy at ADM. Talk of gear changes and torque converter but nothing decided yet. Seems like they are as busy as i am. This is a good thing. I'm expecting return of my car somewhere between the 23rd to the 30th of this month. Barring the fact that I come up with some other brilliant additions!

You know that is one part I have yet to understand with the preorders, what was up with all of the top secret crap. Man they are building cars not stealth fighters. I guess that's why I am not in the auto building business, go figure.

I wonder if our cars will be on the same truck coming back?

570, I know what you mean when you say you wish you had something to beat around in while we wait. I have a cooper s as my daily driver and it is a very fun car to drive but just doesn't quite do it after driving the 2ss.

Windy, I'm pulling for you to get your car back soon so you can share your experiences with us. We neeeeeed stories to help us through this.

mws, I think it is very possible our cars could come back on the same truck, they should reach completion within a few days of each other.

I asked the wife if I could upgrade to the 650.. was a big NO!

She said "I thought you were going to be happy with the 570"

My response - "Yeah, but all the other guys upgraded to the 650.."

She's not buying it.

her next question was "how much are you spending on that other stuff?"

the phone rang.. it was her mother.

Saved by the bell! Thank god for chatty mothers-in-laws.LOL

I had a good laugh at this one - but it would probably be the same for me if I actually "asked" the wife.

Too funny!

Yep, I figure I could use the old, "what, naw I know we talked about it" line then remind her about the bathroom.
If that works cool it not, I will be in the kitchen remodeling business.

Thr wife pays the home equity line of credit bill. She would KILL me if I put 20K on it for the 650 upgrade.. Hence I asked her. LOL She will see the 5K i put on it.. she will be ok with that (I think - I didn't ask).

I know she was going to say no.. wanted to see if she would say "do what you want" or something similar, which translates into "YES". Wasn't getting that seal of approval from her. It made her happy I asked.. normally I don't ask.

When I told her I was trading the vette for the camaro, she rolled her eyes and said 'do what you want'. I came home with a new Trailblazer SS AND a Camaro order..

Are you a plumber by trade? LOL you are doing a bathroom already.. or is that getting subbed out?

She can't do a cheap room, like the living room, huh? You may need a tire budget once your car is done.

FedEx ships cars? So you just ship your car to Ligenfelter, they do the work and then ship it back to you? How expensive is that?

http://passport.fedex.com/

I had my car built and "drop" shipped to the closest dealer - Courtesy Chevrolet in Decatur IN.
LPE will mod the car, and then it will be shipped to me.

from LPE (Decatur Indiana) to boston it's around 1,100.00 one way.

Depending on where your at Lingenfelter has a gent they work with who can pick your car up and deliver it to them via an enclosed trailer. Call Kevin to work out logistics.

GOOD INFO/CHANGES COMING LATER TODAY! STAY TUNED, SAME BAT CHANNEL BAT FRIENDS!

The rest of the house was done two years ago, all thats left are the bathrooms and kitchen. I wish I was in the trade, all I get to do is pay the bills.
She actually told me "you work so hard, if it makes you happy go a head"
Of course her LTZ Suburban is less than 2 years old, the bathroom is guilt on my part. Or just good marrarige politics.
I figured out early on, a happy wife is a happy home.

Well... she was OK with the 13 K or so I dropped on the LPE570, and another 10K on all kinds of other parts I ordered.

Being married has it's advantages.. I would hate to raise my daughter without her... and the bed gets made, laundry, dishes, etc. Glad SHE doesn't ask for a raise too often.I out spend her by a longshot.

I drop 20K on a lawnmower 'cause I want to upgrade.. she clips coupons and saves $2.00. Gotta love it.

Dam.. Windycity, where's that BAT news you were talking about? We need a dyno run from LPE or something to stop discussing bathrooms and get back on CARS..

LPE has to get out a couple of carmaros out for the SEMA show, so new info is hard to come by. HEE HEEE I would rather talk women or cars than bathrooms. Maybe a poll on how many mambers have their cars an LPE?

Well don't have all the juicy details yet but in addition to the 650 "Transformation" Lingenfelter is doing, and the RPM transmission work, oh, and the ADM (Andy) boost gauge, we are upgrading some other drive train components.
New (stronger) half shafts
New gear! Going to the 3:45. I believe that is what is in the stick model. It should add just enough extra "spring" without sacrificing drive ability.
I'll post more info tomorrow when Kevin gets back to me. He/They are very busy, short week ya know!
I need to find some small decals of a mustang silhouette with an X through it. Can paste one to the door after every kill!
