First detailing using Polymer Polish

Hey I just did the first coat of my once a year polymer polish with sun filter and the car looks amazing. Can't wait to get the second coat on in a few weeks for an even deeper gloss. This IOM finish rocks.
No clay bar, no multiple steps, just high quality polish. Each coat adds to the previous in gloss depth.

Well claying the car before you applied that polish would have been better, at least you would have started with a clean paint surface first. Just my two cents though

i bet if you did a side by side on IOM you'd be surprised the difference.
your car looks good, dont get me wrong but I'm a firm believer in claybar. On black and darker colors claybar is your friend

Had it side by side with an IOM Camaro yesterday that was bought from my dealer a day later. Hers was clay bared and the $495 paint sealant applied.
You'd be hard pressed to see the difference. Besides you have a lifetime to wear down the clearcoat washing and polishing it. You want to build up a finish not take it down IMO.
Can't wait to get the second coat on.
The only thing i would clay bar is the top of the front bumper cover, the rest of the finish rocks.
ps I asked the dealer to put nothing on the car, just wash. Didn't want their cheap wax.
