PROJECT: Heisenberg

Background story:
The 93 pickup was originally my cousins fathers truck, which he sold to my grandfather. Then after a few years my father took ownership, and now I have it.

Then project name came from the show Breaking Bad. Since my truck looks like the color of the meth they make, it seems fitting. Now, onto the past!

Long ago...this is what it started as...

Under-body work. Hand sanded the frame to try to get all the rust off. Then spraying it w/ "rust proof" spray paint. Also hand washed the under-body, prepping it for the undercoating.

Pictures are in no particular order.

Suspension work. Replaced the front and rear shocks with KYB Monomaxx and the coils with heavy duty ones.

Also painted the drums..

Quick loose throttle cable fix...

Took out the interior to vacuum the floor. Didn't get any after shots cause it was dark when I was done.

Painted the hitch and added a hook!

Well, a new set of headlight and turn signal light assembles, new solid chrome front bumper, a flat black push bar, new speakers and since the cassette player doesn't work; a new mp3/CD head unit.

Further down the line I would like to put a E-ROD LS3 in it. But that would be the last thing I would do.

It is great to see someone working on their truck like this,it looks very niceWhat do you have planned next, dual exhaust, mirrors?Did you have it polished and waxed as well, the paint looks clean.I know it was repainted, just didn't see anything about buffing or polishing.

Kool but I would have left or added some of the original bumper trim on there cause just seems like too much chrome on the bumper but I am glad to see you keep working on it and improving it.

Thanks. A new radio and speakers will be next. Hasn't been buffed but it needs to be.

I'm in the process of making a custom license plate bracket so I can put a plate on. I'm sure with a plate it will set it off nicely.
