Hey guys, latest has mine witing for a flywheel. Ryan said they should be in early nest week. So my guess is she is still setting their heartless. I know I would mount the clutch before dropping in the engine. Maybe they are working on the half shafts and catback in the mean time. Considering how RS's moved I am guessing three to four weeks before I can get some seat time.
Kind of bummed as RS's and mine were deliverd in the same truck. Oh well I know the wait will be worth it.

Hey Windy is the new Mrs, getting the car bug? Mine could care less, her idea of fun is serious mall time. She has caught the shooting bug though. Took her out and got her hitting man targets at 40" with her P22. She even blow off 30 rounds with my M4, said it was a rush. Go figure now she wants to go to the range. Now I am really nice on week out of the month.

Mine has been a car fanatic longer that I. Her first car was a 70 Chevelle SS, then a 73 BB Monte Carlo with swivel buckets, this followed by a pristine 69 Chevelle I found for her back in 84. She has her own 08 C6 Roadster and we are going to get a CTS-V in Feb/March and truck it up to Lingy in time for summer!
If your Mrs. is enjoying shooting, try a M-1 Carbine, everyone loves those! I bought mine a Springfield 1911 in 9mm last year and she loves it! She would sleep with it if I let her!
If you really enjoy shooting, try USPSA.org. It is the organization I belong to and have been competing in for years. Lots of runnin and gunnin and about as much fun as you can have with your close on!
Hoorah my Brother, can't wait untill you get your car back!

I just got her to liking the P22, I plan on moving up to a Sprinfield 9mm double action semi next, alot safer for her to carry in her purse. I love all 1911's I have two Kimbers, and a colt Gold Cup all in .45 a very fine round and one of the finest guns ever built. IMHO
Thinking about getting a Glock plastic just for the extra rounds.
I just got into the rifle shooting last year and I am already up to 8 of them. The M1 is an awsome rifle but I think the recoil is too much for her.
I did finally find some ammo for my grandfathers old lever action it is a .32 Winchester nice gun but it kicks like a mule I mean .300 mag kind of recoil.

.30 Cal M-1 carbine is a WW2 veteran, no recoil, 30 round mags, a whole lotta fun. Not a M-1 Garand, that will knock her on her butt!
Springfield XD is an awesome modern carry gun. I can hook ya up with the best guy in the business for a trigger job too!

Sorry I missed the carbine part, I already bought her the gun but she is scared to shoot it. Even my 9 year old son shot it a few times, I think she will come around just needs to get comfortable first.

How is the recoil on that .50 anyway. I have always wanted to shoot one but no one I know has one. I hear the semi auto is about like a 12 ga.

Hey at about what speed do you have to be rolling before you break traction on full acceleration? I think I heard you say 40 mph is a no go, I was just wondering as I sit here carless. My guess is at 60 mph the 650 package will be scarry if you downshift and punch to pass.

There really is no recoil. I shoot it prone and it weights like 34# or something like that. It's not like any rifle you ever shot, recoil wise. It's more like a push than a punch!
It is actually my favorite rifle to shoot, very easy to see the holes!
Favorite shotgun is the Saiga 12 ga. with 10 or 30 round magazine. Now that lays down some firepower!

I am going to do some more experimenting this afternoon and/or tomorrow. Remember the car behaves differently than an old muscle car with all the computer controls. Traction control, stabilitrack, keep slippage under control. When it is spinning the tires, it will just run through the spin as speed is increasing. With the computer on, in a smooth but fast (pedal movement) acceleration, the car picks up speed like a bike. Although it never runs out of pull. Don't know if you guys ever spent much time around the Windy City or it's burbs, but there are few areas where one can accelerate much without extreme hazard.
It's been raining off and on all morning here. Hopefully the weather will clear up.

Damn I might just have to get me one of those shoulder cannons.
That Saiga is a beast... should be standard issue for close quarters street battles in the sand box.
