Not a good way to earn Job security. I can feel the cries as those Suburbans corner whoever took these in a dark corner of Ontario -- and Scott steps out with his 2x4....Sorry pal; Donald Trump would like to speak to you:

Maybe this is another intentional "leak" to generate hype (It's succeeded at that!)

Just curious, is it me or is the entire rear end one body piece with the roof?

Great to see these pics, but are we sure this isn't just a scene from Transformers 2? There's an awful lot of robot arms in those pics...

haaa, look at the very last pic on the first page. Before last dec shutdown, where that wall is, beside that is a huge loading dock. Where the robots are, is where i was at working on the old impala line.

Can't be. Not feasible for production or body repair service. I did read that the rear quarter was one piece with the cowl side-rocker-jamb area. Its been utilized before. It's been called a "uniside".

It could be just the angle, but I thought I saw a solid cross structure under the rear window, eliminating the chance for full fold down rear seats. I hope this is not the case. Can anyone else see any better?

Other than that, great pics!

Except for the person who took them: bye-bye to your job

I hope you're talking about Scott taking the pics, I'd hate to think you were going to rat someone out! If you were, there might be a black suburban comeing for you!!

Awesome pics!

no suburbans coming for me, i havent been at work for over a week! lol

plus where i work, my station is nowhere near the camaro bodyshop. Where those pics were taken is the exit and entrance to gate 5 on park road. which is closed, we all park and walk in from the new west paint shop on stevenson road.

I'm getting teary eyed.

I thought about this day, and the days and pics coming soon. This is one big journey to see the Phoenix (Camaro) rise from the ashes.

Hmm, looks like it turned into Bumble Bee

The second pic appears as though there will be front struts~ that seems odd. Oh well, the car looks very sturdy.

I think the angle in the shot you are talking about is deceiving. in the 4th pic it looks like you can see through to the trunk area.

The original title for "Alien vs. Predator" was "Alien vs. Predator vs. Chevy Camaro." It was cancelled in preproduction, because film execs knew no one would pay 9 bucks to see a movie 14 seconds long.
