The day before the Woodward Dream Cruise (2006) My neighbor across the street had a pre-cruise party for a few friends. When leaving the Road Runner decided to leave his calling card. Not the smartest thing to do in the middle of a sub-division. To say the least nobody was very happy. Especially when people were out walking their dogs, kids on bikes, etc.

Here's the first one I did since I've been home for vacation. I had the video camera on a mini tri-pod and my son was taking the pics with the digital camera.

I did my first successful burnout back in August. No pics/vids though. I had some unhappy residents looking for me because I rubber coated their streets. It was my first brake stand/burnout in a standard tranny vehicle.

Damn! That Cuda is no joke. If I'm not mistaken that license plate says "V10CUDA".

I never really understood the purpose of burning the hell out of your tires from a dead stop by doing a power brake or a clutch drop. This can be accomplished by a Dodge Neon. Now show me your car laying a 50 ft. patch of rubber hitting 3rd gear at 100+ mph and I will be impresssed.

My COPO 427 would snap your head back and leave a nice chunk of the bias ply tires between every gear including 4th - now that is the way to do it.

The 2010 Camaro is a potent car - but unfortunately it will not do that. A skilled driver can get a nice patch in 2nd and might catch a chirp in third but that is the limitations of the LS3 motors stock. These cars have modern day horsepower - the COPO 427 has old school torque. A mild cam in an old school 427 has them pushing 500hp and 500+ ft lbs. of torque - this is the power and torque that snaps you back in the seat and shreads the tires. It does help however that the 1969 COPO cars run 14" bias ply tires in stock form.

You have to get it out of the garage to do one.
