Jim Mckay Chevrolet, Fairfax, Va

I would like to give PROPS to this dealership. Never in my life have I dealt with a dealership that works so hard to do what they can to make you happy. I will admit some of the information they gave me was kinda slow and even after the fact. I was actually calling them to let them know when my car was being built and when it got on the train, etc.

Now more of my story. I ordered back in May from Craig Caldwell at Jim Mckay. They took my order at MSRP. Through my wait I had gone through a lot of worrying about the financing and What kind of things the dealer could pull when the time came to get my car.
I would call every couple of days and tell them where my car was in the build process. I got in pretty good with Bud Carole the Sales manager. He would joke with me about how he was waiting for me to call with the new news updates.
Each time I called I would have him repeat to me that it was still going to be at MSRP. And he would chuckle and say "we only sell at MSRP."

Anyway as the train got closer I called and spoke to Stephanie in finance, and she gave me the best news ever about the lowish payments I would have and how good my credit score was. The car actually came to the dealer at an odd time. I was on my way to work that day and Craig was off the next and even had a Dentist appointment. He tried to get me to pick it up on Friday, but I just couldn't wait that long. He agreed to cancel his dentist appointment again and come in on his day off so I could take delivery on Thursday.....

When I went to pick the car up Craig had positioned my car in a way that it stood out and the sun was on it, with nothing else around it. As I was approaching the door he as pointing across the street with a large grin on his face. He told me that Stephanie was finishing up and he was going to put my plates on while I spoke to her. Everything was exactly as it should have been, no haggling about payments and rates. wham bam and it was mine.
Very easy.

THANK YOU JIM MCKAY for fulfilling my wish and dream to own this fantastic car...........

I ordered from them and it's been good so far. My only complaint is that they claimed that GM wasn't building cars at supplier pricing until the MSRP ones were built. Obviously that wasn't a GM policy, but a dealer policy. Eventually they admitted that it was just a dealer policy.

Anyways, I switched to MSRP because I didn't want to wait 6+ months for my car. Can't wait for it to get here. How long did yours take to get shipped?
