First runs for my SS

Couldn't wait any longer, and went to the track today. Pulled into the gate with 631 miles on the car. Since I have the M6, was really worried about the output shaft, and never left the line hard. My R/T and 60' aren't good but, still did pretty well. I have done nothing at all to the car. So, it is all stock. Made 4 runs, best 13.490 @ 105.94, bad 13.633 @ 105.53.
Here's the slips...

Well launch harder next time Honestly, once you hit that break-in point don't be afraid to launch it hard. The car is made to hold the occasional hard runs, just not everyday. Good times even though you didn't launch it hard.

Great times!! I have had a hard time getting mine to hook.. 2.12 is my best 60' and 13.60 is my best ET so far on 1/4mi. I went to an 1/8 local yesterday and hit 8.83 with a 2.16 60'.. Drag Radials will fix that soon enough.

I will next time However, then I may have a problem with wheel hop 3 out of 4 runs I had a little wheel hop when I hit 2nd That's ok, I'm going to have a lot of fun, learning now that I know it's not going to break

I think that when I go next time, I'll have a hard time too. Most of my 1/8 were in the 8.9s. However, as you can see in my first run, car really likes the 2nd 1/8, that car running next to me had me all the way through 1000'. It's just going to be real fun getting to learn what I want and what car can give

Yes, nice runs.
Transfer your fastest timeslip (and basic information) over to the official 1/4 mile list thread. Your name can then be added to the list.
