Under MSRP yet?

Has anyone found a dealer willing to sell under MSRP yet? Not including discounts like GMS or USAA or anything.

Not here in the Virginia Beach area. I was at Hall Chevrolet at lunch, 2SS/RS IOM with 1700 miles on it $10K over. Unreal.

Your only sure-fire hope of buying under MSRP is through discounts, and finding dealers that honor them is another challenge in and of itself.

Mine will be here end of Oct. (projected) under sticker. Long time relation with my dealer. I have run across several dealers that will order for sticker.

I having a feeling it will be a while before we can get under MSRP w/o discounts but I have a friend that is trying to convince me that they should be under MSRP by the end of the year. So, just curious if anyone has seen that yet.

I got discounts & got extra off of MSRP. Got very lucky I guess + I spent about 60k at the same dealer last year, so that may have helped.

IMO, if you build a relationship with a couple of decent dealers and they believe first that you are willing to wait, then that you are ready to order....they will want your business and would be willing to do some discounting to get it.

Worked for me.

I got mine for under MSRP - using the GM College Student discount, which at the time had no exclusions for the new Camaro (I dunno if it's still this way or not.) Saved me $1,500 if memory serves. Makes one wonder if registering for a class and obtaining an ID might be worth it (to my credit, I was legitimately enrolled and attending.) Anyway Classic Chevy in Grapevine will certainly honor any discounts you can find to have applied... otherwise, I'd say you're right and it will be some time before there is a non-discounted 5th Gen sold for below MSRP.

Some dealers are selling for $500 under MSRP now - this $500.00 incentive is being given by GM as a waiver of the return policy. The dealer is still selling the car for MSRP but they are giving you the $500.00. Any dealer that is trying to tell you "they" are giving you the discount off msrp is not being honest as GM is paying the bill on this one.
