Whats everyone using for Car Covers???

Never owned a car cover but would like one for the SS when it arrives shortly. Prefer something that doesn't leave swirl marks...

Post what you recommend and why. Good and Bad experiences.

California car cover. I've owned 3 of them. They have many different styles and colors to suit your needs and custom cut for your specific make and model.

http://www.calcarcover.com/

Oh and it's not the cover itself that creates swirl marks, it's the dirt between the paint and cover that scratches it. So only use your cover on a clean car.

Mine is in my Garage, I do have the Camaro Red Cover with the black stripes, but I'll probably leave it in the box.

I'm ordering the Noah from California Car Covers. They seem to have a great reputation here.

My car is garage kept but I still cover it due to dust. I find it gets VERY dusty just sitting in the garage. I have a CA Car Covers Dustop cover. It is meant for inside storage and fits the car perfectly. It is much less expensive than the GM cover and softer and thicker. They'll also monogram it for a small fee.

I've heard some complaints about the Noah car cover (see "Car Covers" thread) ... never had one myself but I have a Stormproof by Coverking on order...they're having a sale until the end of sept...ended up being $260...(links on same thread if you're curious)

Just traded in my CCC Superweave for their Noah - don't have it yet. I couldn't stand the issues of paint swirls etc and how light the SUperweave was - it wouldn't stay on long enough for me to cover the darn car! We'll see about the Noah...I'll check the other thread since I don't remember Noah issues; other than it's bulkier & heavier than the SUperweave.

AND, I covered it right after washing (twice) and 3 coats of Zaino!! So, IT WAS CLEAN!! Used the cover twice and then threw it in the garage; then mailed it back!

California Car Cover Superweave. Haven't received yet but hope I don't have issues that some others have had. Heard mixed reviews but thought I would give it a shot

Question hemming & hwing

like the idea of the cover... somewhat unncessary with a garage unless I cover it at work... naaaa.... However, I do agree, especially here in AZ there is much dust even with the garage... thinking about covering it when not in use for 2 or more days.... Thanks for the note on Stormproof as that is one of my choices... has anyone used the Chevy one... is it decent.... overpriced no doubt....

We have the red with the black stripes camaro car cover. It works great in all weather. It has been left out overnight with the cover on it and it's water repellant. We keep our car in the garage most of the time also, but putting the cover on helps keep off the dust. It was a good investment.

I keep my Camaro in the garage so it only needs protection from dust - black shows it all! I have, for years with many cars, just used cotton bed sheets to cover my cars. Its cheap, quick and easy to use and wash when dirty.

Ca. Car covers makes an awsome product, we however bought the Chevy silver cover to match our CGM w/black stripe Camaro, I figure since we park in the garage anyway it is only for keeping the dust off, and liked that it matched the car.
