Thank you to everybody who entered and to everybody who participated in Fan Voting! For those who didn't enter, September's contest is wide open! We will be awarding $75 for our top photo selection, and the fans again will be selecting a $25 Fan Choice winner. Everybody is free to enter again with different photos than those sent in earlier. In this first contest we received a lot of interesting shots that were far under the min size requirement of 900x675 though. That alone narrowed the field a lot. When submitting photos be sure that they do indeed meet the size requirement.

Glad others liked the product...mine did not go on well and when I tried to return all the unused ones (5 of 6 were unused), they said sorry NO returns.

Not my kinda vendor- needless to say would never buy again...

Yep the Fit pulled in the most fan votes, surprised us too.

Thanks, the lighting kits for the Camaro are some of the easiest kits to install that we offer. Aside from some being recessed they are generally smaller with a mild compound curve making them easy to manage. The material is very self install friendly, adding to the easy of application.

As it is ~40 degrees F this AM here in Texas thought I would pass along a few items for those of you doing lighting protection kit installs when it is cool / cold out While the material is easier to use when it is warmer out you can do a successful install when it is cold out.

In a garage is really a good idea, as well as a space heater if possible if it is snowing out . Enlist the assistance of a friend and it will go quicker. You need to keep the film warm - using a hair dryer - an industrial heat gun is not necessary though you can use one on low if careful. Have the friend keep the film warm while you are applying and squeegeeing. Especially the case when compressing fingers along the perimeter of the kits.

Wrapping the squeegee with a suede detail towel will help too. As the material is going to be stiffer in the cold, just like you, you need to use more pressure on the squeegee. Hot water in you spray bottle is a good idea too. When done with your install be sure to go over the perimeter for a few minutes with the hair dryer to make sure the edges are full sealed. Any material hanging off should be trimmed flush.
