Do you have any night shots of headlights and driving lights on with the different tint kits applied?

A couple of customer shots of the taillights done in our HID Blue Material.

We have had a few inquiries here and on some of the other forums about getting taillights done in HID Blue (or Clear). We have done it in the past and continue to offer it. You just need to order the smoked taillight kit (any shade selected) and when checking out make a not of the desire for them to be done in HID Blue. There is no additional charge for this.

As always, let us know if you have any questions.

What kind of visibility do you have with the stealth smoke headlight covers? Would they be too dark to use, even with the HID headlights?

with regards to the fog light covers and overheating, you have this statement on the website.

Please Note: New car manufacturers warn you about not replacing any of your bulbs with higher wattage versions, and so do we. Higher wattage bulbs may cause reflector / lens / housing failures even without these covers,. As using these covers, may decrease the lens ability to dissipate heat more applicable to fog lights than to headlights- we also recommend that you refrain from using higher wattage bulbs in conjunction with our high performance covers,. We also suggest turning you fog lights off while you vehicle is stationary stuck in stop and go traffic for example

since the fog (DRL's) lights on the camaro are used as driving lights and on all the time.......................are you suggesting we turn them off ???

The Stealth Smoke front lighting kits are not intended for street use, though it is likely that some do. They are not intended for vehicles driven at night, thus track / show use.

The DRL's are a (pointless) low watt light. A lot use the darkest Stealth Smoke on them because they do not like the lights.

sorry i was only concerned with the heat build up as you stated in your warning...............with any of your covers on the Fog/DRL lights is there a heat build up problem with the stock bulbs, assume they are on 100% of time while driving . yes or no??? thx

The DRL's do not get particularly hot, a lot of people put the darkest material on them to block most of the effect with issue.

Our apologies for those trying to use our www.headlightarmor.com site Saturday through Monday only to find an extremely slow / down site (Monday was the worst). Our shopping cart provider & site host Network Solutions was having massive issues with their usually fast ecommerce platform. After numerous calls it appears they have things sorted out, though will not tell us what the ultimate issue was. The site is moving fast today! Sorry for any inconvenience, and thanks to those of you who stuck through the slowness and placed an order! You should have your order shortly!
