The DRL's are a (pointless) low watt light. A lot use the darkest Stealth Smoke on them because they do not like the lights.

sorry i was only concerned with the heat build up as you stated in your warning...............with any of your covers on the Fog/DRL lights is there a heat build up problem with the stock bulbs, assume they are on 100% of time while driving . yes or no??? thx

The DRL's do not get particularly hot, a lot of people put the darkest material on them to block most of the effect with issue.

Our apologies for those trying to use our www.headlightarmor.com site Saturday through Monday only to find an extremely slow / down site (Monday was the worst). Our shopping cart provider & site host Network Solutions was having massive issues with their usually fast ecommerce platform. After numerous calls it appears they have things sorted out, though will not tell us what the ultimate issue was. The site is moving fast today! Sorry for any inconvenience, and thanks to those of you who stuck through the slowness and placed an order! You should have your order shortly!

For whatever reason we have had a rash of people ordering two sets of lighting kits thinking you need one for each side - even from forum members... To reiterate information on the site - All lighting kits are sold in sets - only one item needed per vehicle.

How much do these reduce the headlight power/brigthness?

Depends on the material chosen. The Clear, GT Yellow, and HID Blue are not going to reduce output in a meaningful way. The HID Blue usually look whiter than a stock halogen.

If you are thinking about one of the smoked, depends on how dark you go. More on smoked tint levels on the site here
