To each their own I guess. I think it looks terrible, nice workmanship, just not a good look. Car is borderline too wide now. Even though I love mine, I wish it was a little closer to scale with the first gens.

not talking crap but with the smaller top half of the car it looks like one of the shrunken head people from beatlegeuse. at first looking at the first picture, i guess the same one as the one on the homepage i couldnt tell a difference at all..i guess it was the lighting casting on the car making it look the same as the silver one..and in my opinion the silver camaros dont show off the curves at all..you should take pics with the yellow car beside a red car or a black car with some really bright lighting on the black car to show the dips and curves from the lighting.

http://badcopnodonuts.com/2009/09/14...hevy-camaro-3/

the press guy in this link, trying to sell the concept, says that this car looks incredibly better next to the "slim and fragile looking stock camaro, with its skinny and sleek look."lol..thats the most rediculous thing ive heard yet..i actually like the hips..would be better if just a small exaggeration not this much. i still like it though..BUT this car is the furthest new car from fragile and slim. look wise its way more aggressive and meaner than the other few "muscle" cars out today..if he was trying to convince me to get that mod it failed, just pissed me off cause he downed the stock version soo much..he should be flogged.

Yes, GM make 2 different lips. One for the SS, one for the V6

I like some parts of this better, but overall I prefer the black one.

Man, if Revolution ever does a wide body, I hope they would use mine as a test mule. Everything they do is sic.
That RY looks even better from the side. Couple that with the fenders from Revolution.

I am from the 1st Gen generation. You have stepped away from the heritage design too far IMHO. It looks........ RICER . However to each his own and I must say great craftsmanship.

I'm not "from" the first gen, but I'm with this guy! It kinda looks like one of those "DUB" edition models we all bought while waiting for our Camaro's to get here. Great little model, not so much on the real thing. The last thing I saw 24's on was an Escalade... I don't know if anyone has realized, but the only reason for taller wheels is to fit the brakes. So unless you have a 18" rotor, I'm not impressed. It did show some serious skill in the body shop tho. Like the quote, just my opinion.

I have to admit Im surprised by how many people on here dont like this look. My jury is still out on what it adds\takes away from the car but one thing I do know is this gives the car a very exotic or European look. I dont believe it makes it look ricer at all. True it may take from the gen1 appearance but honestly Camaro designers have always been a little more oriented towards the european look then say mustang. Can you say 71 camaro?
Just my 2 cents.

Is this the Sir Mix-A-Lot Limited Edition?? The different wheel offsets look like crap. Im completely happy with the factory "wide body".

I always said the new Camaro had a big ass, but jeez... this is overkill! I am impressed with how it's done though... I was wondering how they do it, and someone posted the pics of the "in progress" work... very interesting.

the ricer term is whats overkill, people are just using it now for common insults. the car is just as far from anything ricer as the gen 1 camaro. its more exotic looking thats for sure and if you said maybe croussianter since it looks more euro then maybe i would agree. but saying ricer is like calling someone with a red hat and a white shirt Fred Durst or Limp Bizkit. Ricer is for Japanese looking cars..what part of this car looks compact and small???i have never seen a japanese car look manly or bigger than a coffee can, and this camaro doesnt look like an M&M

I swear, there are so many people on the f-body/y-body forums that think if you tint windows you're "customizing" your car and how DARE you defile the PERFECT design decisions of GM! Well, I think that's bullshit!

The car's not for me, but that's because there's too many scoops, but that's my opinion. Wide cars look fine. Nobody bitches about the Z06... oh wait! That's because it's sanctioned by GM. Well, in my opinion, anything that detracts from the crappy taillights that GM put on the ass of a beautiful car, the better.
