On my 2001 I put a K&N air filter and K&N oil filter and filled the pan with 4 1/2 quarts of 5w-30 Royal Purple and I've noticed a big difference. After I get the Magnaflows put on I'm gonna go dyno it to see what I got.

seafoam it first and foremost, then swap to RP oil. cold air intake, exhaust, overall tuneup, spark plugs, wires, etc.

if you wanted to, you could call advance induction and get a head/cam kit to boost it up, wont be cheap compared to the rest of the things listed, but it would bump your power up.

I don't know if it would make as much of a difference on a v-6, but when when I changed to 1.6 ratio rockers and swapped out the mechanical advance on my distributor it was a huge difference.

rockers will help also, but make sure you upgrade the springs to handle the new ratio

A nice and cheap way to go would be to get a CAI off ebay called "Chrome Intakes" second would be exhaust and then just go from there. One way to get more power to the ground would be to get a Aluminum Drive shaft I for one am startin by checkin my "junk car" Just so happens my junk car is a 1998 Camaro Y87 3800 Series II sooooo lol with that said I have a lot of fun stuff to do to get either that car running or get the parts I need and sell the remains to those who need whatever off the body.

The best way to get some more horsepower is to build the motor appropriately and boost it.

The cheapest way to get more horsepower is to install an intake and an exhaust. Try adding headers and a downpipe after that.

You could always take the Honda way out and stick on a big red R and claim you drive something JDM. You'd only look better than a Civic driver because you drive a Camaro which automatically makes you a BAMF.

Thanks... that was an interesting read. I've done pretty much the same thing with Amsoil products in the past. It worked pretty good.

I hope it isnt that "Turbonator" that they sell that goes inside a stock intake to create a vortex
