Doesn't FI improve gas mileage? Or is that just a turbo?

It can help ... but not always. Its a bit much to get into right now, but basically you're a lot more likely to find improved fuel economy with aftermarket kits than with OEM blown engines. I'm not positive but I think that whether the or not an engine will see a gain with supercharging is based largely on the compression ratio.

OEM S/C cars are tune to run very rich for safety. The have bigger injectors than none F/I. The Cam is also different on F/I. These three contribute to more gas. Plus the car will be heavier.

Even without getting into boost, you'll be "Consuming" more gas, not that you're getting any more power out of it.

I think that is right. Factory FI cars tend to have reduced compression ratios to keep the engines "safe." The lower compression ratio lowers thermodynamic efficiency. Aftermarket kits that just bolt keep the original NA compression ratio. Keeps the fuel economy higher, but also a higher risk of blowing it all to hell.

I'll guess the sticker will say 16/21 BUT

The way I drive it will in practice be more like 14/19.

Not my fault, my foot is just so heavy. *shrug*

Id guess 15/20.

At the current price of premium fuel............ *leaves to go do the math of what the fuel will cost....*

Comes to the realization that when I get mine I won't give a F%$# what it costs to drive it!

A safe bet is that if you can afford a vehicle that requires only premium fuel, you likely aren't concerned with gas prices or tracking mileage.
