Just got a brand new carbon fiber hood yesterday from Carbon By Design in Oceanside!!

Hood looks absolutely beautiful on this car. It has a taller than stock cowl (2 inches taller to be exact) and it is full carbon fiber top and underside! Fitment is great and it looks just bad@$$!! The guys down at Carbon by Design are great to work with, they installed the hood for me so they could get the fitment just right, and I would say they did an excellent job. You were the CGM at Cars and Coffee in Irvine weren't you? You only had the front set at the time i saw it an we all werent sure if you were from Camaro5 ...

Haha, yes that was me. I've been waiting for the rear's to be finished for a while. What car were you there in? Wondering if I saw you or not. I'll be there next Saturday most likely, you comin out?

These Brembos are an upgraded GT kit which has 15" two piece drilled rotors and monoblock 4 piston calipers. The price for the rears is $3395. HERE is a link to the thread I started when I got my fronts done, there's info there about the kits.

I didn't get any underside pics today, but I will take a couple tomorrow and upload them here.

They do come with Brembos stock. This is a big brake kit, upgraded calipers and rotors

This hood is $899 because its cf on top and underneath, if you get the fiberglass gel coat (black) underside its $699. If you want just fiberglass top and underneath to save some weight but you dont want the carbon fiber look it's $599.

Thanks, I think it looks grear on the cyber gray, but it would look even better on a lighter color, like white for sure!

Yea not feeling the hood or brakes. Like the size of the brakes but I like function over appearance for the most part, and drilled is for looks.

Different strokes for different folks.

That Hood on your car has to look sick but only on a CGM car......

Never really been a fan of carbon fiber but to me the rear of the hood seems a little high and the sides a little to squared off.

The Hood looks great to me and that is a fair price.

Why upgrade the brakes? That is a lot of money to spend on a car that already has Brembos and stops from 60 in 103ft (below average). Are you planning on racing it?
