Catch can alternative? BG Pro
I was at the dealership yesterday having my oil pickup tube recall checked. (Got lucky and mine is not effected) Anyways I asked them if I install a catch can if it will void my warranty, and as I expected it will not void warranty, but if something fails, and its the catch cans fault, then that part would not be covered.
They told me about this project that they offer that is an option to clean out the direct injected engines: https://www.bgprod.com/services/gdi-performance/ Has anyone heard of this or had a dealer push it? I already have my catch can on order, so thats the route I am going, but wanted to share this info I found, for others.

Yes I've seen it before...most lube places have something like this as an "add-on" aka up-sell product. It likely works by using a shit-ton of detergent to clean off the gunk.
In past cars, I have just used Sea-Foam (go on Youtube). I have the Mishimoto catch can...am just waiting for Mishi to send me my intake so I can do everything at once.
