Daytime Running Lights

I know this has been discussed numerous times on here but I couldn't seem to find a definitive answer to my question, most topics were on non RS cars.
Anyways I have a '13 SS/RS and I would like to disable the DRLs. I like the look of having the halos on only. I wasn't sure if it's just as easy as disconnecting them or if there is a fuse/wiring that needs to be unhooked.
Thanks.

Yes, you could unplug them. Another option to keep your safety feature and look good is to replace the fog lamp bulbs with leds that match the color of your halos.

The DRL's are turned off when you turn your lights on unless they have been modified by a previous owner. Or are you saying you just want the halos on with the side markers and tail lights off.

Yeah during the day I like just the halos on not the headlights or DRLs.
That might look cool too updating the bulbs to match the halos.

In my picture I installed LED running lamps and the harness. You can get the harness from here : http://www.gen5diy.com/PnP_harnesses/drl-harness/ or pretty much anywhere. I bought mine from amazon. The harness allows your DRL bulbs to be on with the headlights. So essentially they are on all the time acting as DRLs or fog lamps.

I converted my DRLs to be on full time as well with a purchase from amazon. Aprox $16 for harness. Upgraded the bulbs to LEDs at the same time. Installation was a breeze.

Not the best angle, but my fog lights have amber halos in them and act as DRLs along with my headlight halos.

Cyber10,

Did you remove the DRL bulb and connect the halo's to the DRL connector? I left mine bulbs in and connected my halo's to the side markers. I'm debating getting LED DRL's now...
