C7 Corvette seen on Transformers set?!? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

This is the first time I tried to post a picture, so if it doesn't come up, I'll try again tomorrow. Either way, I found this picture and thought that this may in fact be a concept C7 Corvette. The picture was taken from the set of the new tranformers 2 flick, and I can't think of anything else this could be. Anyone have a better explanation?

it kinda got the body lines of a vette, but the roof if SUPER low.... maybe its finally a concept C7.... who knows?

could be some kind of saleen vehicle ... not sure tho... looks to "concepty" to be a c7 vette concept.

I think it's a C7 Concept that will make a minor appearance.

That definitely has Corvette lines. It looks like the Corvette is going to have a more angular, pouncing appearance like the second generation.

That must be a 4 foot tube lens on that spy camera. I bet he's a 1/4 mile away judging by the photos. Pretty cool.

But you know, I almost can't help but feel that this is Micheal Bay messing with us a little. Seems a little TOO easy that Bumblebee is poking through the open side door, ya know?

Okay, since there had been some spy shots of the new TF2 cars/set/whatever, I thought that I'd share something that isn't Camaro related, but it IS GM related...

Is it the Chevy Volt? Corvette C7?

I'm gonna join the Corvette C7 Concept camp. It looks a lot different from the Volt concept, definetly closer to the Vette.

Nah. Bumblebee isn't top secret any more. They have no reason to keep him concealed.

Personally, I think the roof is too low for it to be the Vette....

I'm thinking maybe a revamped version of a Caddy, but not the Evoq. Rather the Cien...the Cadillac concept from a few years back (see pics below)....they should have built this thing back then, but now would be good too...sweet body to wrap around some high-tech hybrid technology....

I'm stressing the concept part of my opinion: look at those rear-view mirrors. they look...concept Camaroish, no? The wheels are crazy-big. Whatever it is, C7 or not; it HAS to be a concept car.

It's not the Cien, the car in the picture has side mirrors, and in this photo, the front end looks really Corvette-esque

IMO, it looks like a "modified" C6, with some of the "styling exercises" possibly being used for the C7.
