Spoiler Nut TSB

Did the TSB work on my rear spoiler last night myself. Loctite and torqued the nuts. The two under the liner take some work to get to.

Thanks!!
My rear spoiler had a little vibration on the left side. It was a loose nut!
Now everything is fine!

But, have you torqued them properly and added loctite?

btw the Loctite 242 specified is blue - medium strength...

Hope it doesn't hinder spoiler removal if I ever go to add cyber gray stripes later down the road...I'm a little concerned about stripping the studs out of the plastic in the spoiler now that the nuts are Loctited on.

Take it to the dealer, they put loctite on all the treats and torque them the correct way.

My concern was over future disassembly due to the Loctite. Spoiler needs to come off to do stripes in the future if I decide to add.

I suppose Loctite blue is made for disassembly, vs. the red at least.

Just did my own too! The driver's side nuts were all missing!! For sure there is one inside the lid. I think I will just leave the body plugs out and see if it falls out on it's own. One or two good launches may help! The GM part # is 11561316. I actually had a few from some other project so it worked out OK!
