MTI Funfest this Sunday!

Anyone heading down to the MTI Funfest Sunday 10/10/10? We are heading down, not sure if we are getting a room sat night or heading down early sunday morning. Will know Fri. If anyone wants to go from what I have read you need to register ahead of time. which is 89 bucks if I remember right, but that is for track time too. IF you want to meet up and ride down together hit us up.

MTI Fest was awesome, everyone that didn't go missed out, that is unless you went last year, then you already know. Well worth the 89 bucks. I'll know next time to hold back a bit the night before. Go there a little late. LOL

Greetings from Paradise!

I'm a Firefighter/Paramedic in Orange Beach, Alabama. Just picked up my 2010 2SS/RS Black/Black on Thursday 10-08-10! Much thanks to Richard and Ted over at Sandy Sansing Chevrolet in Pensacola. She had a few miles on her before I got her, just enough to get the tires warmed up, but a clean as the day she was born!

What a Great way to turn 40!!! (Well a few months ago at least!) Looking forward to racking up the miles and meeting the family!

If you are near Alabama's Beautiful Gulf Coast, shoot me an email and I'll show you the town!

Wishing you sunny days and God's Blessings.

Thanks! I saw that and was planning on entering the car show just for fun! Well, that is too bad that folks in this area aren't as active...I was looking for some folks to go to the drag strip with!

I haven't gone out there, yet. I won't run my car, but would be interesting to check it out sometime. I thought about doing the car show also, but there is a Motorcycle Charity ride that same day. If you do the car show, good luck.

I'm Chris from Anniston. I currently drive a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo "Intimidator" SS. I am considering trading it in on a 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS in Red Jewel Tintcoat. I like my car, but I think I like the Camaro better!

Do alot of research on here first. Look at the recalls, complaints, problems with the car and read about the lack of cooperation from the dealers and GM before making your final decision. They are fun cars but way overated.
I only kept mine for about 10 months. Thentraded it off before something else happened that the dealer would say was my fault. ( clutch sticking on the floor at take off)

I've had mine for 13 months now and it's spent about 6 wks in the shop for one thing or another. Bad lifters, non operating USB port, blurry driverside mirror, and now for a coolant leak. It's a beautiful car, but I keep getting reminded why I haven't owned a GM product since 1992!

I have had my MC for three years, and have had no major problems. I think that is pretty good for a 7 year old car. All I have done is routine stuff...batteries, oil changes, brakes, etc. Back in 2008, some idiot ran a red light and destroyed the entire front clip. I insisted that it be fixed with genuine GM Delco parts. The insurance company finally agreed, and it was. I have the Certificate of Authenticity verifying it as #2909 of the 4000 produced. It is definitely a rare car, but I don't think it will ever be a classic like a Camaro is sure to be. I may have to hold on to it a little while longer before I make the decision on a Camaro.

My name is Brian. I live in fairhope. Any of you guys in my area? Id like to be in a club of some sort, as lame as that sounds lol. I just think its amazingly cool when you see a car club running down the interstate. 10 or 20 of the same cars all across the color spectrum :P.
