I'm growing tired of these propaganda stories. True or not. Unless they produce a unit now to get in on the CAI shootout, or start shipping them in a week,"not likely", I am opening up to the results of the Jannetty testing.

I mean really. Vararam has fully disclosed the testing process that has been going on with this first year model car. Granted the platform has been tested but to properly engineer the CAI you need the entire package. And passing material between Tx and the AZ and NY is a slow and very expensive endeavor.
I for one appreciate the thorough testing their doing. It means maximizing potential. And at least we're being updated on the testing.

All i did was change the names and the vendors, I did not like it, And you will not like it, Like i said he will not send a unit as to the test that Jannetty is doing as he dos not have a unit that is ready to go and some of the test is the look of the box and fit as that will be unfair for a beta unit, I hope you like what you get from "ADM PERFORMANCE" as this will be the winner of the test.

I'm also very interested in the Vararam, it's either that or the roto-fab, and the way vararam isn't posting any numbers or info is very discouraging and makes me want to just order the roto-fab

The numbers are what matters to me...... It cant hurt to put one in the test and show how the product does against the competitors.

I remember it well. And I stand by it. But with this TEST from Jannetty, and they can't get up for that,yet they can produce test units to go all over, and at this point in the game there is still no definitive answer. To anything.
So I express myself. You should have included the date of that post as well as all the,"promises" of disclosure that came and went without. Quote me on that.

There is two more guys on here that have some info why do you not ask them to post there numbers on the dyno as you do not think my test is a real test, as for CGM2SSRS your a mouth piece for your guy as you post how he is the most perfect man a live, Vararam dos not need to send a unit to a test that dos not work........
The best test is in the 1320.

Make whatever excuse you want on why Vararam can't deliver a test unit for this test.

We were told beginning of August, now it's October. Will it be November?

Test Notes from the road for the 6sp VR Camaro Ram air system development
Camaro 6 speed test ( VRX-004)
WE have now logged the car for almost a week and run about 200 miles with no check engine lights without doing any custom tuning etc..
I have completed all coldstart simulations from 65 deg to our current 90-100+ temps.
Fuel trims are in line with OEM and the car runs strong
Freeway cruise in 5th and 6th - here fuel trims are also within OEM and look good, fuel MPG is better.

accceleration testing;
( small beta test mule VRX- #004 vs factory stock)
DA is 2375ft
1 person 200lbs + 1/2 tank of shell 93 oct
12pm test start
2,500RPM launch on fast release
All Runs are Hot laps, no cooldown etc.. and never any tuning.

Stock runs are
0-60 4.71- 4.78
1/4mile 13.18-13.20@ 107.1 107.5mph
60ft times are 2.10-2.13sec
(customer ran the car at the track with some cooldown and ran a 13.18@108.5mph best on a 2.15-18 ,60ft)


With VR test mule #004 installed
Car now runs consistent 0-60mph times of 4.30- 4.37 ( 6 back to back runs,no cooldown, no tuning)
launch is 2,500 RPM, wheels spin is 5ft, as measured
60ft times are 2.12-2.15 sec (lousy but consistant)
1/4mile times 12.80-12.87 @ 110.5-110.7mph ( 3 runs back to back, No cooldown,)
with correction factor
12.5-12.6@ 112-113mph!

later in day after rain delay 7.30pm
DA is 1947ft
Same launch tecnique,however, the rain has blown the launch pad the car either Bogs or I have to be more aggressive with clutch release and it just blows the tires off of it!

0-60mph 4.47-4.50
60ft times are 2.23-2.31 ( No consistantcy, NO grip)

All further acceleration testing for the day "ABORTED"

I will continue data loging through the night untill 5am

I will switch to the larger "TUNE ONLY" unit VRX-#005 at 7am 08/18/09

You do not have to by if you don't want it, I know you want info but all i can do is call up and post what i get from them, This is not my job and i get no $ to help you out or sale the unit, All i have to do is stop helping you guys out i will get what i want, But i still help a lot of guys out and that is my fault, good luck to all of you.

One more thing why don't you ask ss1_2010 his dyno # as he is beta unit #4 he has them,( P.S. that is the car that ran those # that i posted) I know them and Vararam has them and that was with the hood open not closed, and that is 6-8 hp more.
