2014 RS intake

Hello everyone,

I bought my camaro few days ago and I am very excited to be here. I am planning to get a cold air intake. I have no prior experience with the cars or tools. I am looking to get one installed at a shop. I am hoping for someone to point me to a place where they have the intakes for a camaro. Looking for CAI intake.

Thanks for the help .

Welcome to club permagrin. If you can use a screwdriver and wrench, you can install cold air. Don't pay someone to do it. There are a few good vendors on here that sell CAI. Check Apex Motorsports or Maryland speed in Marketplace > Sponsors...> V6 Bolt On & Tunes forum.

Yes, just watch a few YouTube how-to's on it and it is a piece of cake. Same thing with a catch can. In fact, they're fun afternoon projects (very quick to do, but I took my time, pumped up the music, and just enjoyed the time beneath the hood).

Piece of cake to install a cold air intake! Don't waste your mod money to let someone else install a cold air intake, save that money for the next mod! I was nervous my first time I installed one, but found it was extremely simple. I personally love Roto-fab's intakes. Had one on my G8 and I'm working to finalize a deal on one for my Camaro now. HIGHLY recommend them!
