Is that Charger stock? If it is, you're not running circles around Mustang GT's.

LOL wait a second. so you want a vid, a vid is found, then the vid is discounted as a lie? Well I guess my logic skill just aren't good enough to break through that little logical conundrum.

Only mod is that i replaced my resonators with glass packs. I ran it 3 times at John Hennessey's track last year. Late summer, the DA was 1,850. Best time of 13.3 at 109mph on the Goodyear RSAs. 60' time was 2.13.....

First off, Stews video link was broken.

Second, the one you posted is a modded 300C. He just says it 'was' stock on that run.

What? that last vid I posted was supposed to be all stock for those times and stock in that run. I can't help it if it was broken, the link was from this post http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthr...ight=300c+srt8 from 2005

The video link was broken.

I read some of that thread. There were some doubters. Either he has a serious factory freak, or it's not stock. He supposedly ran a 12.5 stock in 2005, but over 4 years later and no one has came anywhere near to that time with a stock Challenger SRT.

It's all in good fun. The Vette guys can pretty much take care of themselves, but thanks for looking out for 'em, big guy.

The guy never posted up that video of the showing of his stock air box and exhaust. We are not doubting that those 300C can break 12's, it just seems near impossible for a 300C to hit 12.5's stock.

LOL...I've been getting a kick out of reading this, because when I first started driving the most exciting factory (domestic) stuff we had were 5.0s, Irocs (the LT1 was like a GOD-send!), L98 'Vettes...never saw any cool 3.8 turbos, or a ZR1, so we had to make do...granted, it was *marginally* better than the anemic years from the mid-70s to mid-80s, but we're ALL spoiled these days with the vast choices of performance cars out there.

Thank your lucky stars, y'all...

Hey literary genius, who discounted the video as a lie? Myself and a couple of other people just asked how one could be sure that the car was bone stock.

Just for you: Go to post #14

http://www.challengertalk.com/forums...90/index2.html

If a stock R/T can go 13.1 with a great driver (Dodge Tony) ,a stock SRT8 is capable of at least 12.99999 with that same driver.

Time to move on.....yes?

No genuis. We already covered this. Your wrong on TWO parts: First, his car was not stock on that run, and he admits it. Second, this is not an 'if-then' argument involving the R/T. Either the SRTs can run 12-sec 1/4 miles bone stock, or they can't. The R/Ts times have NOTHING to do with this debate.

Ready to move on, I could get a stock SRT8 off the lot and drive it to a 12 second pass and 1bad65 wouldn't beleive it, he is just trying to push buttons and troll away so I agree to move on.

I love a lot of 80s muscle, still love the 3rd gens, especially Irocs, 91-92 Z28s, Formula WS6s, turbo Trans ams, Grand National, 5.0s and even the T-Bird TUrbo Coupes, Monte Carlo SSes, cutlass 442s, and the Hurst Olds with the lightning Rod shifters

I'd actually admit you were right if you did that.

Can you explain to me how I'm trolling by asking you to back up your claims with proof? If anyone is trolling it's you, by making assertions and not offering up "plenty of videos" as proof like you said you would.

You wanted videos, videos were posted, you read a thread where actual GTO owners witnessed a stock srt8 running 12.5 (you just brought up the doubters bu left that part out), I wish theis forum had an ignore function......
