If it sounded 'logical' I definitely worded it wrong... it's ridiculous... but at least it's the real reason!

That's not a bad idea!!! Hey everyone, this guy just caused another 6 month delay for that grille you wanted.

With regard to the "emblem problem", I thought one of the GREAT things about the Heritage Grille was that it DIDN"T have any crap on it, Bow Tie or otherwise...

Don't bet against mid-February, as stated long ago..."just because..."

The ones seen @ SEMA, this year (Chroma etc.), were SLA "prototypes", NOT "production" versions of the Heritage...

...and STILL no sign of GM's Dovetail Spoiler from SEMA '08, for God's sake...although the Aftermarket already has that one pretty well covered...

Will the Heritage grille have two bars over the turn signal or one? Dale Jrs and the chroma have two bars over the turn signals, where some pictured here in earlier threads have a single bar over the top of the turn signal.

It has one bar. Believe it or not we made the turn signal as small as we could so putting two bars over it makes it too small to be legal!

Thanks, Was wondering about that, as not much of the turn signal would show thru.

Please tell your management that most of us buying this grille could care less about the stock bowtie. I'm buying it because it looks great and an old school SS emblem will fit there.

Thanks for letting us know though...

I'd buy it without the bowtie or any rs/as emblems. The whole reason why I love this grille, and will wait on it, is it's so clean.

I just got an e-mail from GM Parts Direct asking if I wanted to keep my grill on order or drop it since it is on "national backorder". Of course I kept it on order, but man these constant delays are getting old!!!! Someday....Someday....Tick...Tock...Tick...Tock...

But if they ("camero" and his co-workers) could come up with a big, red, new style "SS" emblem to replace the bowtie, I would be willing to wait a little longer!!! I'm not in a huge hurry, mine will be in storage for another 2 months or so anyway!!!

Latest update from GM's Parts Database: 04 Feb 2010. That was moved back from 01 Feb. These dates are ship dates to the ADIs, then the ADIs send them to the dealers. Fortunately we are next door to the ADI.

I've got one on my desk! I'm thinking of sneaking it out and putting it on my car and posting a picture just to make you guys squirm. Now I've got to get back to that high wing spoiler. It really is ridiculous.

I m hinking about having it painted silver to accent with my hood spears. Or perhaps painting it to match my ABM and have the horizontal bars painted silver? or kept black? or just leave it stock and black out the front of the bumper cover like the LS7 concept. What do you guys think?
