I am thrilled with the outcome from LPE as I know Speed is as well. The cars are really well behaved. Boost only occurs when you really step on it. Cruising, there is no boost. It does not impact gas mileage if you are not using the added power. Power is there when you want it, though.

You want a quality shop like LPE, Livernois, or Hennesey that will warranty the work, just in case anything happens.

Rick- I think you just pushed me over the edge to buy the maggie.. to bad I'm not closer to your shop. Quick question for you, When You say "tune" is there a "tuner" that comes with the 2300 package? If so, Do you use that tune, or are you talking about a completely different custom tune?

If u are serious about a Maggie and tune, consider the Keith and Charlie at RPM Motors in Santa Clarita. Check out the work they did on mine.

Typically, I believe they have you send the ecm to them to flash. We order all kits without a tuner and custom dyno tune them.

Thank you,

Rick

How long does a quality install on the maggie take..?

Is it three days? or a week?

I hate having a car sit in a shop for weeks or months on end...

Too hard to explain to the wife a normal service takes that long....LOL

There is no reason it should take more than a day or two for an experienced mechanic.

We order them with upgraded injectors, so I believe it's a wash. With a custom dyno tune, the tune is specific to your vehicle.

While the install can be done in a relatively short time frame, we typically like to have the car for a week (5 business days) to do the install, tuning, and street drivability.

Thank you

How different is this than the flashed ecm standard kit version tune from Magna? Is it more liberal power wise or is it a safer tune or both?
thanks

In addition to the ECM, we also tune the TCM. We don't tune anything on the edge, it will be a conservative tune but will make more power than a "canned" tune would and would be tailored to each particular vehicle. This is important especially for cars with headers, cold air intakes, etc.

Just know this; My l99 has the maggie (roots style) with 8# of boost and everytime I goose the car it feels like it leaps forward. That is the best and simple way I can explain it. My supercharged WS6 with the Procharger D1SC kit (centrifugal) w/front mount intercooler didnt do this and it was pushing almost the same rwhp but the instant torque you get from the maggie is amazing.
Maggie was a good choice for me.
