12.70 Tune only

Went to the track wed night and ran a 12.70 at 109 with a 1.90 60ft. Me and my tuner are going for a test drive monday to see if we got the tune the way it should be. I think we left a little on the table with tune , My 60 fts where in the 1.8s before the tune and now Im in the 1.9s with the TM off. I have the shift points at 6200 is this where they should be? Will post the slip later

Yeah I was going to say...for some one who achieved a 12.86 @ 107 bone stock you aren't exactly where you should be with a tune. Typically tunes will drop the car into 12.6x-to 12.8x. The cars respond really well to the tunes so I'd continue looking into that.

Very nice (and the fastest I've seen from a tune only car).
I was running 12.90s with intake, mufflers, and tune on Saturday, but with a
DA of 900+ ft (Temps in the 70s with pretty high humidity).

I'm hoping to run 12.70s or so (with my current setup) with some better air. These L99's really run good at the track.

Again, congrates on the great time.

Nice job Pave... I was expecting more with a tune as well considering your car seems to run harder than any other L99 I've seen... any chance you will get more time this year to try running again with a cool down/changes?

What most people dont seem to relise is when you let your stock car cooldown befor you run the stock timing is pretty good so my time is not going to drop as much as someone who ran low 13s stock. I would loose 3 tenths off my best times stock doing back to back runs do to the car getting hot and pulling back timing.
