Which One????

Thinking about getting a 2010 Buick LaCrosse CXS, or a 2010 Ford Taurus/SHO, or a 2010 Nissan Maxima SV/w Sport Pkg. Give me some feedback!!!!!

Depends on what you want.

I would suggest the LaCrosse, but I'm biased.

LaCrosse will give you a luxurious interior with decent power and handling. It won't be a speed demon, but you'll be comfortable all the time. Want a luxury car without paying for a Cadillac? LaCrosse is your best bet.

Taurus SHO will give you great performance...but at a high cost. It's up to you to decide whether or not the high sticker price is worth it.

Maxima? Only thing I like about it is that it's a full size sedan. Other than that...blah.

Definitely don't get the Nissan. My brother has a Nissan (2007) and while it runs great and everything, he has had so many little plastic interior pieces break on that car that is not even funny. Fortunately all were replaced under warranty, but its still a hassle and warranties don't last forever.

As with the first post, either the Buick (luxury) or the Ford (performance).

I'd go with the Buick personally since you already have an SS.

The Taurus is nice....can't say I care for the looks overall, though...I much prefer the new Fusion...anyways,

Since you already have a Camaro -- I'd say you've got performance covered. The Buick will provide an exciting, healthy balance of performance and comfort to serve as a perfect daily-driver. It has better fuel economy, more luxurious, interior far lower price (almost 5 grand), and a host of unique features like adaptive headlights (they turn with the steering wheel), and HUD, etc.

I would go with the Buick.

EDIT: And I pretend like the Nissan doesn't exist, because....well it doesn't: Buy American!!

I'm biased to both Buicks and SHOs. Umm, flip a coin?

+1 - I have a 2006 Maxima SE - Ive been trying to find a rattle for about 3 months - the dealers has dismantled the whole dashboard like 3 times. I am just gonna trade it in. Fustrated

I guess if $$ is not a worry I would go with the SHO because of performance

We did some benchmarking recently with the 3 cars you mention. Replace the SHO with the Lincoln and you are pretty close.

The best for overall ride and handling is the Buick. Surprise!!!!

The Ford is the most dynamically challenged car in the group. On our ride and handling course, it was BY FAR the most nervous handling car.

Now the Nissan will give you slightly better handling at the expense of ride (read firmer).

So you come down to the SHO having more HP, which may be what you are looking for vs. a really nice all around car in the Buick. I think with the Nissan you get the Maxima heritage, 4 Door Sports Car.

Equally equipped, all have verrrry nice interiors and features.

But I would rather see you in the Buick.

The Buick is very nicely equipped for a fair bit less than the Taurus. I know nothing of the Maxima.

There is a lot of interest in the new Buicks, particularly the new LaCrosse, from younger buyers. Younger is relative, but its an attractive option to people in their 30's which is still a significant drop from the average age of a Buick buyer.
