lmperformance.com? Buy from them? Yes or No?

I am getting ready to buy my exhaust system. And I'm spending about $2,100 for the SLP system. Has anyone bought from these people before? Are they legitimate? Anyone have any last words before I make the leap?

lmperformance.com? Buy from them? Yes, Yes, Yes

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I purchased the SLP Loudmouth II axle back at the best price available from them. Received shipment in 3-4 days without any hitches. I believe shipping charges were $5.00. The product worked as advertised and I didn't need any customer assistance. I highly recommend them !!!

Just in case you missed this from your other thread

L99s have displacement on demand, and when it goes in to 4 cyl mode you will want to jump out of the car unless you select your system carefully.

Most of the exhaust manufacturers did not take this in to account so beware before you buy.

I suggest you install Dynatech headers with high flow cats in to the stock exhaust for 1299.00 and get a real power increase without the obnoxious noise.

And there may be enough left over in your budget to select a Cold Air Intake system.

The car will be louder just from the headers and cats, and if you have to go for an exhaust after that I suggest Corsa for L99 cars especially.

I will further explain, your stock exhaust system is designed to cancel out the VERY ANOYING 4 cylinder DRONE that you will hear and not just hear it, IT's defening, you can't have a conversation, hear the radio or hear yourself think for that matter.

To top it all off there is NO Performance Advantage over the stock system.

Others who have been down this road will attest to my statement.

I stock a full line of parts for your Camaro so give me a call and I will Hook you up.

Even if you don't buy from me I am happy to share this Solid advice with you.

What Ted said. No power increase if any, sound only for axle backs. If you have a tune and have the AFM cut off then you can enjoy the axleback. I`m running ARH Headers and a ADM intake and will be getting a tune soon, so I can optimize my mods, and cut off the AFM and get an axleback for the sound. I don`t really like the stock cans sound w/ headers in my opinion. It is much louder under WOT than stock.

Just as you hear good experiences from them, you are going to hear bad as well. I ordered front control arms from LMPerformance, they charged my card an hour after I submitted the order. A few hours after that I received an email from them saying the item has been discontinued. I emailed them back saying you charge my card then tell me the item is discontinued? Well, I am still waiting for my card to be credited and it is 4 days later. It is always better to buy direct from the manufacturer, when I do I never have a problem.
