There's another..."Sticktion"...which would be combining "stick" (as in making a vehicle "stick" in the corners or when accelerating) with "traction" in any direction...

BTW, with all the crappy weather over the last 2 days (10" of snow here in the last 20 hours...), I sincerely hope we're All Present And Accounted For...

Maybe we should have a Roll Call/Check-in...in time for the New Year.

I read where he was fired from the show and is now suing them. Apparently, at least according the the YUUUUPster himself, some of the lockers were pre loaded with interesting goodies to make the show more interesting. When he complained he said his lockers were no longer getting these extra goodies. Which lead to more complaining and termination. Blah, blah blah.

Annnnnnd YUUUP

Number 3..... Hows the battle against the walls in the "Share's" thread going?

I was trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to say in that thread, then I realized no matter what I said the naysayers would still be naysayers. Some people just can't see the big picture.

Someday, and my secret is safe in The House (soon to be corrected by our housemate to The HouZe) people will realize that I simply go into those areas to stir the pot. I realize it is pointless to try and convince anyone. It turned into a lesson about the constitution last night and I know better to argue about the constitution with a constitutionalist. LOL

Imagine..."reality TV" ain't reality?! Say it ain't so!

Gosh, I'll miss Dave's pearls of wisdom, and his supportive, kind outlook on life...

Any other weather survivors out there for Roll Call? Twister territory? Another blast comin' this weekend. Hunker down, folks...

Regardless, it shows braking and handling are so important to having track performance. And the 1LE and ZL1 have those pretty well sorted out.

On that note, however, I am puzzled as to why an SS is 8 seconds behind a 1LE. That doesn't compute. Nor does the fact that the Z51 Corvette was only better than the SS by .2 seconds.

And the last dicussion for The House......................why is a ZL1 faster than the Z06 on this chart by 3.6 seconds. Does that even come close to making sense? Does 75 HP Make up for 800 pounds? Can the same basic brakes stop a ZL1 just as easy as the Z06?
But again for the cars that were there on that day, it sure was a great Chevy result.
Two z06's ran. Note the one at 2:53.5 on the right side of chart about 4 spaces below the ZL1.

#3, Dale Earnhardt, the driving force of Nascar, and the RCR/GM/Goodwrench Nascar sponsorship. Dale was the hero that we loved (and the villian hated by some). Anytime I see a 3 on a vehicle I think back to my fond memories of the day, and of Dale and that special sponsorship, RCR/GM... who I was fortunate enough to have had so much fun and passion to follow.

A guy in the apartment building next to mine has a pristine Intimidator edition Monte Carlo. I have no idea how he keeps it so clean and in such good shape in Columbus. I want it so much.
