69 wheel wheels sweep lines on 5th
One of my favorite design elements on the 69 Camaro are the wheel sweep lines
. A one year design change, and then the car is replaced by the 2nd gen.If I knew how to use Photoshop I'd do a pic with them. Those lines make the 69 Camaro (and the hide-a-way headlight covers) distinct. I was hoping the 5th would have them, and mid-model changes just for the sake of mid-model changes seem to be a thing of the past. No point here, just like them and hoped the 5th would have them. It would take body/paint work to recreate them, but it seems doable. |

Ya one thing i loved about the '69 was the "sweep lines" was kinda hoping for them on the 5th gen but really it looks sleek without them as well.

I don't care who you are... those lines on the 5th Gen look awesome. I know that we have to permit a new interpretation of the classic and let some things slide but it would look kewl with the "eyebrows". Could be a future model change... much like the 68 and 67 had the rounded wheel openings, so does the phoenix rising from the ashes. That could mean that by the 2012 model year we could have eyebrows? |
