If you can't tell us how much $$ discount the donor car will get because you don't know the total cost. Then just set it up on a % discount of the list price, say 70% off.

Are they working on a kit? They haven't posted anything on here in months. I'm assuming they gave up on this.

If someones going to give you their v6 as a donor for something you will be making money on, I believe that it is only right that this discount either be major, or you give them that turbo kit for little to nothing. Giving a company your own car, and you won't be there to witness everything, you can only imagine some of the things that company would do. I would have no problem shipping my car to you. Just think that if I would do you a favor you should do one in return. You feel me?

I definately would buy a turbo kit if it was available. Please let me know when it's all figured out. I wish that I was in Houston so that I could let you figure out a turbo kit for the V6, but I'm in Oregon.

I have a V6 LLT 2010 manual Camaro and love it. I sold my 75 V8 Camaro and loved it too. I am impressed with the power of the V6 2010 overall and enjoy driving it every day. One of the main reasons is that you enjoy much better efficiency with the V6 and can justify driving it every day. I just could not do that with the V8 SS... thus I sold my 75 as I couldn't drive it every day either.

I fully planned on considering a turbo kit when I opted for the V6 2010 and will seriously consider it ~when~ my warrantee expires. I think anyone doing this during the warrantee is taking big chances and frankly should have simply purchased an SS if they need all that power. We ain't all Jay Leno with GM building V6 turbo Camaros for us, so it's all about the economy of the deal. I love turbo cars as I have owned and driven Turbo equipped cars and they were factory jobs, not trunk slammers that are basically just guessing. I would never just donate my car for someone else to experiment away... read that fine print, y'all.

Let GM do the engineering, they will certainly come out with a turbo kit that is tested on that powerplant, the LLT is awesome~! It's already pumping out the top of it's ability as it's de-tuned in every other application, the CTS, for example. Be wary of trying to make it do more. I will be focusing on CIA and cat back exhaust for my impromvements to my LLT, for now I only popped in an K&N filter into the stock air box and am happy with a little more ~oooompf!~

I will keep monitoring this topic, expect an interested party for a turbo kit from me in... say... three more years! ;P
