At some dealers I'm sure there will be markup....Some clear to buyers, and some not so clear with aftermarket adds like VIN etching, truecoat...etc....

I was proud to be the first dealer here to say NO MARK UP on COUPES, and DISCOUNTS HONORED.... I mirror that comment on the verts too

I'm sure many of our forums sponsors will do the same!

nothing yet... Just about every coupe option (like stripes) are available... The "vert only" accessories aren't listed yet in the ordering system or from GM parts.

CamaroScotty,

Is it true that an american dealer is not allowed to sell a new Camaro to a canadian customer for immediate exportation to Canada.

If not, going down south would be a real good deal.

Canadian prices are much higher than US. For the same 2SS convertible, we are talking close to 10K...

Not only that, GM is charging us almost 1000.$ more for shipping and handling than in the US...

Dollar exchange rate is almost 0 and Camaros are made in Oshawa, Canada. Try to figure.

We, Canadian Camaro addicts, are being screwed by the same company that our taxes (like you guys) helped bailout.

The worst is when we are really hooked to Camaro (like I am) we will pay this "premium".

Thank's for your answer

We cannot sell new cars out of the country. USED, YES... but typically they have to be titled in the USA for 6 months.

A slightly used vette wouldn't work???

Too bad,

CamaroScotty, thank's for the vette offer but I'm hooked to Camaro (even if I have to pay the high price). GM Canada probably knows they are a lot of Canucks like me, with the Camaro needle in the arm, willing to pay more to get a "fix". I'm kind of a Camaro junkie.

My first camaro was a 1976 RS (manual). Three years later, I traded it for a 1980 Z28.

It's been more than 25 years since I sold my 1980 black Z28(manual) and I still miss the feeling. (price to pay to raise a family). That's why I'm getting a 2011 2SS RS black convertible. This one will be automatic (Hummm...no comment).

You know, when you're getting old (56) and the old lady has a "veto" right you have to compromise. (she doesn't drive manual, a manual car I mean ).

I ordered my Camaro last thursday, so I'm like a kid waiting to get his new toy. What a super feeling.

The white sh.. will not melt fast enough. I wish we were in march 2011.

Couple of my buddies are thinking about getting a vette.

I will tell them about the used US option and I will provide them with your Email.
