I think we'll get our answers on monday.

I'd just like to know how much weight we'll save with aftermarket wheels.

I'd also love this info - but, just FYI, the LS/1LT/2LT wheels don't have a different weight for front/rear because they are the same size front/rear, unlike the SS or RS.

The 20" front on the SS weighs 30 lbs, the rear weighs 32 lbs. The 21" front on the SS weighs 31.7 lbs, the rear weighs 35.7 lbs.

I don't know the weights of the 18" rims.

how sure are you of this? Do you have proof? Not that I dont believe you, just want to have full confirmation if I'm adding it to the wiki.

Someone posted this info previously and I wrote it down:

20 x 8 front wheel = 30 lbs
20 x 9 rear wheel = 31.96 lbs

As for the other wheels - I didn't get that. Sorry. :(

yeah most 20" wheels are around 26 -29 lbs.

That's why this question came about.

you're right about the tires too, I want to try and get 305's all around.

haven't looked at forgeline weights yet but CCW's are about that weight too.

dont know about making custom tires, but that will probablly be expensive.

So far it looks like stock wheels and tires are staying on my car for a while (once I get it).

The stock tires weigh: 245/45-20 = 31 lbs., 275/40-20 = 35 lbs. You usually have to check the manufacturer's website and look up the tech specs to find out tire weights.

yes, if anyone can give the total weight of the tires and wheels for the high polished 19's that would be nice also.
