With only a few days before we find out about our beloved Camaro, amist all the speculation and rumors, here is your chance to make your final guess. Make it short and sweet, no changing your mind after this. What will be the base V6 engine name and hp, and the base V8 engine name and hp.

Base V8; LS3 6.2Liters 430 hp
Base V6; D.I. 3.6Liters 260 hp

RS- 305 DI 3.6 Dual Exhaust
SS- 405hp LS5 6.2L w/AFM (basically the same as a LS3, except with AFM.....RPO requirement)

I am praying for a D.I. Gen V V8 to go along with the Gen 5 Camaro...

But I don't think that will happen because SOMETHING would have been leaked by now about a DI V8 from GM.

But Fbodfather said that we will see something NEW in the Camaro as far as engines...

My guess:
Base V6: 255 HP
DI V6: 301 HP
LS3: 415 HP
LS8/A: 535 HP

first of all last time I checked there was only going to be 1 V6. anyway.

ONLY V6: 304hp 300lb torque.(3.6 liter DI)
BASE V8: 425hp 405lb torque(6.2 liter)
SS V8: 505hp 475lb torque(7.0 liter LS7)

TOP DOG Z/28: 556HP 551LB torque (6.2 liter SUPERCHARGED LSA) W/ a sporttuned suspension
^available shortly after the release of the convertable as a second year model.

I have the same idea but with a little bit less hp with each engine. Take around 15 hp off each, and thats my best guess.

I think they'll give the v8 425 just to stick it to dodge(10k less than the srt8)
