Paul Tracy is behind the wheel of the Victory Red Camaro at Spring Mountain Race Track. Watch the ZR1 Corvette Chase car in the corners. Compare the Camaro to the ZR1 in a series of turns on race track? Is it possible?

Paul Tracy is awesome and has been one of my favorite drivers for a long time.

Btw, can anyone recognize that camaro and who did the work on it.

But seriously, look at the Pedders Camaro on body role and fore/aft lift and dive. There is none!. Even the Zr1 has more bgody role that the Pedders Camaro. Now we have a good excuse to upgrade the brakes!!

Funny to read some of the comments on YouTube... some people just don't get it.

Nice handling, loved how it took the inside line while the Vette tended to go wide.

The comments as you mentioned are funny. I find it hilarious that the domestics are finally getting to be great rides. Yet so many domestic haters will give no credit for this! Especially since they compare the performances of a $120K to $150K foreign ride to a upgraded $35k ride vehicle that is in fact used as a daily driver!

I am not sure what was in the ZR1. It had to be at SEMA, therefore, it had to be altered to be there. It si true that the ZR1 vette required more track than the Pedders Camaro and had a lot more body role as well. The Pedders Camaro is suffering from lack of brakes, (running OE Brembos) and are suffering from fuel starvation when going thru the near 1.4g corners. The tire experets tell us they think the Pedders Camario can hit 1.7 to maybe 1,8gs thru the corners on the track with race compoung tires, like many of the vehicles that were running there. For sure, this event shows the world that Pedders is on the right track!!

The ZR1 was the camera / chase car. It took a serious beating keeping up car after car on the track. The ZR1 was awesome in that the brakes held up and so did the car.

Gotta love it when people are sayin the Camaro isn't handling well in comments when the car is actually obtaining high enough grip to start making g's like that. That would actually start to physically hurt if you held it at that for a while lol
