Thumbs up World's first matte (flat) Black 2010 Camaro

As featured on Homepage.

Matte look paint/wrap seems to be all the rage these days in the automotive world, with many manufacturers now even offering it as a special edition option on their cars.

A german friend of ours achieved the matte black look on his 2010 Camaro with the use of a vinyl wrap, a popular option (vs. painting) because of its cost effectiveness and reversability.

i saw this a while ago, but i still love it. Its still pretty pricey but id love to do it. Looks very sleek, and shows every curve of the car.

I'm sorry, but although that did a great job, WHY BOTHER, if you wanted something that looks like its in primer, just get a bunch of "rattle cans" at wal-mart and get after it.

He did do a great job, and primer is NOT the same as matte black paint... with primer you cannot wax it and it feels chalky. This paint is wash/waxable, will last much longer, and feels actually smooth to the touch. they also make matte clear which is probably what he sprayed over the black coat

Nice looking, and job well done. What does it say on the front bowtie? Like how he bent his plate to match the lower grill also. That vinyl must be heavy, appears to have lowered his car Any interior mods?
