WHY!!!!!!!!!

Used to be if you couldnt afford paint this was the look. Its right there with "poverty caps" or "bottle cap hubcaps" in my book. I try not to be negative but I gotta say he should put some rusty Crager five spokes on next

The first thing I think of when I see that is "DeLorean".
Maybe it's because it lacks the shiny factor...

This was posted a while back, and it made the front page. Either or, its cool. Might look better with black rims as well. I'm curious how fast he's gotten it up to...

Looks very good. He really needs to black out the wheels and tint the windows to finish the look out. If your going with flat black the entire car needs to be black.

This is VINYL....... not paint.

Matte Paint or Matte Vinyl is certainly NOT my choice. Wouldn't give it a second look if I saw it in person.

I think it looks great. I love Harley's new denim black. It's something about that "Exile" look that I really dig.

yeah how did they do that so well? If it's cheaper than a paint job I might do this. I'm gonna murder it out though

Yeah, you are driving a Red Hot Camaro, so it is only natural that this would not appeal to you. However those that leaned toward the dark side, probably found some attraction to the Matte Black, The skin job looks almost like a paint job, personally not my taste either, but I see the beauty in the eye of the beholder!

You mentioned that you lowered with coilovers, but how low did it lower your car. I was thinking about 1.4".

But yours look to be about 2"

I like the look very much.

A friend of ours has a big chevy pick-up with matte black paint and blacked out headlights, taillights and lenses. It looks so mean.
