Beginner Bracket Racer

I plan on Bracket Racing my Maro L99 this summer. I have never Bracket raced so I have some questions for all the pros out there.
(I did Mud race on the Circuit for 10 years, leaving off a tree, running 1000hp so I do have a lot of racing experience)

1. If you have your Nitrous tank in the trunk do you have to have a blow down system?

2. Required to have a fire extinguisher?

3. Helmet?

4. Dry or Wet Burnout?

5. Auto or Paddle Shift? (I'm thinking Auto)

6 What are some "cant leave home without" things to take with you to the track ?

7. Racing Fuel or just 93 octane?

I know these are a lot of questions, but I think there are going to be a lot of new people racing their Camaro now.

Thanks for you replies

1Yes and the line needs to be ran under the car not in the car .
2Not till you go 9.99 but you can put one if you want
3Most track require a helmet at 13.99 or faster.
4Dry unless you using slicks or drag radials .
5auto
6ice chest with plenty of water also a generator would be nice for fans and such for those hot days and a tool box with a few tools .
7 93 unless you have a high comp race motor

hope this helps .

Very nice. that about sums it up. I also take on of those fold up canopies. That sun can be brutal. I would add an air tank, floor jack , jack stands ,and tool box is nice. AT the very least bring a spare car to get you home in if you break. Unless trailering.
